Research on the Nonlinear Stiffness Characteristics of Double-Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings under Different Working Conditions

چکیده

To study the variation rules of nonlinear stiffness double-row angular contact ball bearings (DR-ACBB), this paper proposed a general mathematic model for DR-ACBB under three different configurations based on improved quasi-static bearings, an explicit expression matrix is analytically derived, and double-layer nested iterative algorithm Newton–Raphson method designed to realize efficient solution model. Then, effects preload, speeds, loads variations arrangements are comparatively analyzed. The results show that DB DF have same rule in axial radial stiffness; is, soft-spring characteristic (i.e., decreases with external load) within low-speed range light load condition, hard spring increases high-speed or heavy condition.
